Apparently, Naomi has been in really keen spirits these days and is syncing with her inner thug after watching T.H.U.G life.*sigh*
Yo yo yo what's popping people. Trust you’ve had a swell week? Well for me, not really. So thanks to Timi’s love for cringy pop music, Alessia Cara’s scars to your beautiful has been on repeat in my head.
If you haven’t heard the song, it’s about embracing your flaws and discovering your inner beauty.
Some of the lyrics in the song were “You should know you’re beautiful just the way you are,you don't have to change a thing the world would change it’s heart.” “You’re perfect just the way you are”, blah, blah, blah.
But then again do you think it’s possible to overlook society’s opinion about beauty standards and embrace your flaws? Cause I don't think so.
PERFECT IMPERFECTIONS
I’ve had to deal with people defining how I should look like. From family members who mean well, to random strangers who don’t know me from Adam, and I let these people get to me in a way that I shouldn’t.

I started using a plethora of beauty products and cosmetics just to erase my flaws. Especially my scars which are one of my biggest insecurities( I even contemplated laser surgery).
But then I’ve come to a stage in my life where I don’t want these scars to define me. And Yeah, people won’t accept it, and will keep body shaming, but it’s fine, let them say!.
You can’t erase these scars and the world may never change it’s heart, but you were created in God's image and that should be enough for you.
So go out there, wear that sleeveless top you hid in the drawer or the one piece body suit you’ve been to afraid to try on, it’s your body!.-xoxo😘
