Hello Earthlings It's Naomi, I'm weak, angry but I remain hopeful. Growing up, I have known my country to be lawless, flawed and unjust,I grew up in a country were criminals are allowed in high positions and wear uniforms, these criminals who are supposed to protect the citizens of Nigeria, subject us to killings and brutality.
In secondary school, I was fascinated by the subject, government. I found each new topic intriguing especially Democracy and till this very day, Lincoln's definition stayed glued to my head "It's a system of government for the people by the people and of the people" it was my rhyme whenever exams came near and today, this definition is starting to make sense to Nigerians that the power lies in our hands and not in the government.
As a believer I'm bothered about the silence of The Religious Groups and Leaders on the EndSars EndPoliceBrutality Movement. For as long as I can remember, we've always turned a blind eye to our problems and constantly hoped for God's vindication, but we forget that faith without work is dead. Our savior's behaviour is exemplary, He seeked justice for the oppressed and rebuked the oppressors.
It is important that we break the norms and step out of our comfort zones and seek for justice we cannot keep praying away our problems without actually working towards finding a solution to them. The holy book encourages us to stand fast in one spirit be like minded and strive together for the faith of the gospel. The plight of the congregation must be heard and we must all take action as believers and citizens of the country
In our society we've also had ethnicity differences and clashs, It is true that we are all different persons with diverse ideologies but I'm here to remind you that in it all we are considered Nigerians first before anything else and we all have a part to play! .We must not justify our ignorance this movement isn't about that, We must not segregate or discriminate one and another instead we must be our brother and sister's keeper, this fight requires unity.
There is no tribe,no religion or belief just one goal Our Liberation, it's about building the Nigeria of our dreams. A country rich in it's culture, value and ways ,We've been overexploited and this must come to an END! .We are tired of Oppression, We are Tired of Mediocrity, and We can't stop, Won't stop until there is a Change!. Remember that once it affects one of us, it affects all of us. This is our fight it Can Only Be Won If We Stay United!.
Ignite the revolutionary fire inside you,Join the peaceful protests, Donate and Contribute to the cause, Spread the Word let your voice be heard, Speak good of our country and Pray for Nigeria. God Bless Nigeria!🙏.
